To act as a trade association and information source for Life Settlement Institute Members who have an interest in promoting life settlement options to their clients and working with the association to raise the ethical standards of the life settlement industry.

To promote the benefits of life settlements in the United States by creating, disseminating and organizing research and information on the life settlement industry.

To educate and promote the life settlement industry to both State and Federal Legislature as to advocate the enactment of legislation and policies favorable to the life settlement industry.
